Beginner Project - Sew a Scrunchie

TIME: 11am - 11:30am ET

DURATION: 30-minutes

AGE GROUP: All ages

Difficulty: Beginner sewers. MUST be able to use a sewing machine to sew a straight stitch.

These scrunchies make beautiful gifts and can also be made for personal use. This live class will walk you through the process of making a beautiful hair scrunchie using materials you may already have on hand.

To be successful, you should be able to properly sew simple stitches using your sewing machine.

Materials needed:

• Sewing machine
• Fabrics you plan on using (at least 1-fat quarter). Cotton is strongly recommended
• Measuring tape
• Scissors

Tips for successful online lessons:

🧵 - Have your materials ready or a note pad and pen close by incase you have questions and want to either ask in class or after class via email.

🧵  - Make sure you have good internet connection to ensure you stay connected, I will record the session as well and make it available to those who attend.

🧵 - Avoid distractions around you to ensure you are able to get the most out of the lesson.
