This is a great beginner project.
 
When it states "fold" on the pattern, print it out and then be sure to fold the fabric and place the pattern with the indicated folded end before you cut.
You can print on wax paper or copy paper.
 
AGE GROUP: 8 and above
DIFFICULTY: Beginner sewists - some sewing experience needed.
PREREQUISITE: Recommended for someone who is familiar with a sewing machine. If you're not, then be sure to take our Introduction to Sewing Class prior to taking on this project.
 
To be successful, you should be able to properly sew simple stitches using your sewing machine.
Materials needed:
Sewing machine
Fat quarter of Fun fabric
Measuring tape
1 inch wide elastic cut to 4.5 inches in length
Scissors
Sewing clips or pins
