This is a great beginner project. You can use two contrasting fabrics, or use the same fabric for both sides. Includes an optional "food pocket" for the bib. The bib can be made with several types of fabric: flannel, terry cloth, quilting cotton, sturdy knit fabrics, or laminate cloth.
Pattern can be printed on wax paper or copy paper. Make note of the fold locations indicated on the pattern.
AGE GROUP: 12 and above
DIFFICULTY: Intermediate sewists - some sewing experience needed.
PREREQUISITE: Recommended for someone who is familiar with a sewing machine. If you're not, then be sure to take our Introduction to Sewing Class prior to taking on this project.
To be successful, you should be able to properly sew simple stitches using your sewing machine.
