This is a great beginner project.

You can print on wax paper or copy paper.

AGE GROUP: 8 and above

DIFFICULTY: Beginner/Intermediate sewists - some sewing experience needed.

PREREQUISITE: Recommended for someone who is familiar with a sewing machine. If you're not, then be sure to take our Introduction to Sewing Class prior to taking on this project.

To be successful, you should be able to properly sew simple stitches using your sewing machine.

Materials needed:

* 2 Pieces of outer layer fabrics (for the socks). Cut to 12in x 12in

* 2 Pieces of inner layer fabric (for the socks). Cut to 12in x 12in

* Optional: 2 Piece of printed (outer) fabric (for the cuff). Cut to 5in x 5in

* 1 piece of 5in x 3in fabric (for hang)
