Virtual Intro to Machine Embroidery

DURATION: 60 minutes AGE GROUP: 13 yrs and above Difficulty: Easy - No prior sewing experience is required. ***US BASED ONLY***This course is appropriate for students aged 13 yrs and above*** This course will teach basic skills for operating a single needle embroidery machine. It is the perfect place to start if you want to learn to embroider. This is a 60-minute classes. During the first 10-minutes we will do introductions and review the lesson plan. The last 10-minutes will be spent answering questions or assisting students who may have fallen behind. This class is for students who are just beginning to learn to use their embroidery machine with little or no prior experience. At the conclusion of the class, each student should be able to: * Have a list of what they need to start basic embroidery work * Transfer designs from their computer to their embroidery machine * Complete their first embroidery design NOTE: This is an individual one on one virtual course to ensure you get the full benefits of the course. You will need: A single needle embroidery machine Pen and paper to write on The class printouts (will be emailed upon registration) A pair of scissors Embroidery Thread Bobbin with appropriate thread Stabilizer 8 X 8 piece of quilting cotton fabric for practice Working computer with an internet connection and a camera so I can view progress REMINDER: *** You must have a full size single needle embroidery machine and its manual handy prior to class *** No refunds will be issued after class has begun.
